One of my collegues is leaving to start her maternity leave tomorrow and since I'd missed her baby shower, and kind of wanted to go, I got her something anyway. I also made her a card which I forgot to scan before I gave it to her *slaps head* which she absolutely loved. I wasn't sure if she'd be into that kind of art so I tested her by asking her 2 weeks ago if she wanted one of the bookmarks that I'd made. As a small art project, I've started making bookmarks. I started because Mum keeps losing them... well, actually she finishes a book and then puts the bookmark inside the book for safe keeping but then she has a cleaning spree and puts the book away... bookmark and all. Anyway, when I put the bookmarks onto a backing I'll scan them in. I'll also upload the card I just did for my Dad's fiance. I'm going to send a design through to Mel for her logo/webpage pic

But in the meantime I found another temporary job that is doing office/PA work and it's a nicer, more mature environment. The downside is... I'm left with the Microsoft Office package as my most fanciest software package. I miss Photoshop and InDesign but there is just no need for it here. So I will no longer be able to scan and edit drawings and photos during my lunch hour... I'll have to make the time at home and pull
